Timber Creek Distillery is a bourbon producer that recently debuted four different flavors of bourbon. The distillery’s mission is to “produce the highest quality American whiskey possible using traditional, time-honored techniques.”
Tasters were in-lighted with Timber Creek’s varieties, rating them high on all counts. They praised the flavor profile and complexity of each blend, and thought they tasted great on their own without mixing.
The four combinations included: unfiltered single malt, unfiltered Florida black rye, southern reserve and standard whisky.
So, if you’re looking for an interesting new addition to your liquor cabinet, be sure to try out Timber Creek’s delicious blends!
What is a Florida Whiskey?
A Florida Whiskey should represent the best that Florida has to offer, and therefore a Florida Whiskey must have the following characteristics:
1. Distilled from at least 90% local Florida-grown grains
2. Uses only Florida limestone spring water
3. Aged in the heat and humidity of Florida
4. Bottled unfiltered – to preserve the unique flavors
This combination of factors will produce a distinctly rich and uniquely Florida whiskey.
